Participation in SIAL China 2017 Fair

INTERPORC, along with 12 Spanish pork associates, participated in the international fair SIAL China 2017, being this the third consecutive year that INTERPORC participates in the biggest Food and Drink international fair in Asia. The main goals of INTERPORC in this fair were help the companies associated that took part in the fair and boost the Spanish White pork within the Chinese distribution and HORECA channels.
To showcase the attendees the multiple uses of the different Spanish White Pork cuts, the renowned Chinese Chef Thomas Xu performed show cookings during the length of the fair, where he taught the audience how to cook three recipes using Spanish White pork as the main ingredient, mixed with Chinese ingredients. The recipes cooked were Cantonese “Char Siu” BBQ Spanish White Pork shoulder, sweet and sour Spanish White Pork spare ribs and Chinese Quail eggs with Spanish White Pork belly
Also, INTERPORC’s booth had the invaluable help of Antonio Baena, Ham carving master, who demonstrated his carving skills to offer the attendees the best Serrano ham experience.
INTERPORC’s booth had an elevated amount of visits from varied professional profiles, such as importers, distributors, supermarkets, restaurant, logistic companies and press.
